This valve lock can also secure valves in the ON or OFF positions. For the ON position, it fits on  1-1/2" diameter pipes, while for the OFF position, it fits between 1/2" to 2-1/2" diameter pipes. Moreover, each valve lock comes with an auxiliary fitting that can be attached to secure ball valves with larger pipe diameters or elevated stems. This lockout device also features a removable insert to accommodate various valve handle sizes.
