There are five main health and safety signs
- Prohibition Signs - convey that something is not allowed or prohibited in the area
- Mandatory Signs - convey that something should be done in the area
- Warning Signs - warn people of possible dangers in the area
- Safe Condition Signs - convey safety information that should be followed
- Fire Equipment Signs - inform individuals where fire equipment or department is located.
