These counts indicate literal theme mentions in the available review text. They are descriptive, not product-performance testing or independently verified claims. One review may contribute to more than one theme.
Representative favorable reviews
“I bought these to put over fire sprinkler drain spigots that were left unlocked and available for anyone to turn. They fit as advertised over the spigot and I was able to put a standard lock through the hole to lock out the spigot. It got the job done for what I needed.”
“This fit our 20lb propane tank perfectly. We used a thick wire to secure it closed, thus allowing access without a lock but still preventing our toddlers from accessing the enclosed valve.”
“I installed these a a community center and they like them. Unauthorized people have not broken them or been able to turn on the water.”
Representative critical or qualifying reviews
“The plastic isn’t very thick so I’m sure if someone wanted to break it regardless of the lock they could but it does the trick of warding off water thieves. I like the warning label.”
“Like the item but for what I use, I wish it was a metal.”
“These came in a 2-pack, which is great. They easily fasten. The only bad part is that the plastic is pretty flimsy and with Texas heat/sun I question whether they will last for any length of time or will they become brittle and crack. It also would be pretty easy to knock them with a hammer and shatter them and leaving your lock danging on the side. We are living in a construction area with water "borrowed" from neighbors for new house construction, so will have to see how long these last.”

Methodology and source disclosure
TRADESAFE analyzed review cards published on its product pages through AReviews. The source dataset contains individual ratings, reviewer display names, dates, review text, product associations, and visible source labels. Representative review text on this page is reproduced without changing its substance.
Reviews shared across related colors or variants are displayed with every legitimately associated product but counted once in family-level statistics using normalized reviewer name, date, and review body. Family averages are descriptive summaries of individual review records, not Amazon listing aggregates.
Amazon aggregate-rating note: No exact-ASIN Amazon aggregate from the captured audit is published for this family. Aggregate rating markup remains intentionally omitted until parent-to-child listing relationships are conclusively mapped and refreshed.
